What we do
Radiant exists to catalyse a movement of people committed to the vision of a Radiant Africa. Here is how we do it.
Priority 1
Gospel Proclamation
Everyone needs Jesus. This is where everything begins.
If Radiant does nothing else, the gospel must be preached. Every single person needs to hear and respond to Jesus Christ — and every generation carries responsibility for reaching its own. This is our first and most urgent priority, and it shapes everything else we do.
Our large-scale gospel events bring entire communities together for evenings of worship, prayer, and the proclamation of the gospel. Every event is a clear, compelling invitation to respond — with expectation for healing, deliverance, and the miraculous signs that confirm God's word.
Gospel events are free and open to all, planned in deep partnership with local churches. We provide the platform; the local church provides the lasting community that new believers need. Our goal has always been disciples, not just decisions.
"My prayer is that every Radiant event will set churches ablaze for the Lord, and catapult each one into ongoing fruitful evangelism and mission."
Priority 2
Business Equipping
The outworking of the gospel: glorifying God through work.
When people come to Christ, it transforms everything — including how they run their businesses. Our second priority is to equip business people with both a theology of work and the practical tools to build with integrity and purpose.
Kingdom Business Equipping Days
Our Kingdom Business Equipping Days are regional events for small and mid-sized business owners. We teach the theology of work — that your business is Kingdom ministry, that God cares deeply about how you run it, and that honesty, fairness, and generosity are not constraints on success but the foundation of it. Alongside this, we provide practical business tools and a framework for operating with Christ-centred values. We also offer a platform for ongoing networking and skills development.
These days build real momentum in the places where we work. Business owners are leaving with clarity, focus, and a fresh sense of calling — and that bears fruit in how they treat their staff, their customers, and their community.
The Radiant Business Pledge
We are developing the Radiant Business Pledge — a public commitment by business owners to run their enterprises with honesty and integrity. No bribes. No exploitation. Fair prices. Transparent dealings. Those who sign the Pledge will receive a framed certificate to display in their place of work: a public statement of identity. My business exists to glorify God.
As the network of pledged business owners grows, we believe it will begin to shift the business culture across entire regions — this has the potential to transform local economies.
"There is no sacred/secular divide. Your calling as a business person is by no means inferior to that of a pastor or an evangelist. Business is Kingdom ministry."
Priority 3
Entrepreneurship & Job Creation
The key to Africa's future is enterprise.
Across much of Africa, the greatest challenge is not a lack of talent or ambition — it is a lack of jobs. And the key to job creation is entrepreneurship. Our third priority is to inspire and equip a generation of entrepreneurs to start businesses that address the real social challenges in the communities where they live.
Radiant Entrepreneurs Intensive
The Radiant Entrepreneurs Intensive is our flagship university programme. Beginning in partnership with universities in Kenya — we run a one-week, campus-based event that takes students from a blank page to a live investor pitch.
Students from different disciplines form cross-functional startup teams. Over five days, guided by global industry experts and using the latest AI-powered tools, they identify a real social challenge in their local community, design a business to address it, build a working prototype, and pitch to social impact investors on the final day.
How the week unfolds
The programme leverages AI tools that allow students to move at a pace that would have been impossible a few years ago — from idea to prototype in five days. Global industry experts join as facilitators and mentors, bringing real-world experience of successfully starting and scaling businesses.
Each day begins with a short devotional — a reflection on integrity, purpose, and what it means to build businesses that truly serve others. The Intensive is open to students of all backgrounds.
"What if your students built the next generation of Kenyan businesses — right here, this week?"
Priority 4
Unity Networks
Movements spread through relationships.
A single event — however powerful — cannot transform a region on its own. Lasting transformation requires a movement: a network of people, churches, businesses, and communities who are aligned in vision and connected in relationship, long after any event or programme has ended.
Our fourth priority is to catalyse these relational networks. In every area where we work, we invest in bringing church leaders together across denominations, building regional prayer movements, and forming relational infrastructure that gives the Radiant vision a life of its own.
What this looks like in practice
School for emerging evangelists
Churches in the areas we work nominate people with a calling in evangelism. We bring these evangelists together for an equipping school for impartation and encouragement. These cohorts then form an ongoing network committed to bringing the gospel to the region.
Church leader gatherings
Regional events for pastors and leaders across denominations to pray, connect, and build relationships across the boundaries that too often divide the church.
Prayer networks
Regular, regional prayer meetings in which people lay hold of heaven for the transformation of their community. These are not peripheral to the work — they are the engine of it.
Business networks
Communities of Radiant Business Pledge holders, supporting one another and holding one another accountable to building with integrity.
University networks
Ongoing cohorts of Entrepreneurs Intensive alumni, connected to mentors, investors, and one another as their ventures develop.
